Jill Gurr is the founder of the nonprofit organization Create Now, which provides creative arts mentoring to thousands of the most troubled youth in Southern California. She has been featured on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, Anderson Cooper’s 360°, KABC, Fox 11 News, KTLA, and in the Los Angeles Times. She was one of eight people in the country selected to be in an exhibition at the Museum of Tolerance called “Everyday Heroes” and one of four selected by the British Council to represent the United States on a Global Xchange to South Africa and Northern Ireland.
