Experiential Learning

Experiential learning provides immersive experiences that help students develop professional skills and network to serve as a bridge to their careers. Students gain practical skills and knowledge through internships, fieldwork, and research projects with organizations in their fields of study. Students also have the opportunity to volunteer for events, visit companies, and network with alumni.

Students in the School of Engineering and Computer Science gain real-world experience through the Cooperative Education program, an internship program for juniors and seniors to  participate in hands-on learning with an organization while earning academic units toward their degree. Students practice and grow their engineering and computer science skills while enhancing the soft skills needed to thrive in their future careers.
