The School of Engineering & Computer Science at the University of the Pacific has provided a student-centered learning experience since 1957. Research projects
Research at University of the Pacific reinforces classroom knowledge and gives students the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned. Cooperative Education program
For 50 years, School of Engineering & Computer Science students have gained real-world experience through the Cooperative Education (CO-OP) program. CO-OP is an experiential internship program for juniors and seniors to gain hands-on experience at organizations while earning academic units toward their degrees. Students practice and advance their engineering and computer science skills while enhancing the soft skills needed to thrive in their future careers. CO-OP allows students to:
• Connect classroom knowledge to industry practice;
• Learn and practice the professional skills needed to successfully collaborate on a team;
• Build a network of professionals; and
• Earn a paycheck to help defer educational expenses.
