Be the Difference.

Marquette University is a Jesuit, Catholic university located near the heart of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that offers a comprehensive range of majors in 11 nationally and internationally recognized colleges and schools.

A Marquette education offers students a virtually unlimited number of paths and destinations—any of which will prepare them for the world by asking them to think critically about it.

At Marquette, we continue the tradition of Jesuit, Catholic education by inviting students to grow in mind, heart, and spirit. Our primary goal is for students to graduate  transformed by their education and ready to transform the world in which they live—becoming women and men for and with others. Nearly 90% of our students participate and engage in some form of service to the local or global community during their time at Marquette.

What Marquette Values

Marquette University’s focus on the four core values—excellence, faith, leadership, and service—challenges students to integrate knowledge, faith, and real-life choices in ways that shape their lives.

Faith and spirituality affect the ways that teaching, learning, researching, and living take place on campus. Students, faculty, and staff of every religious tradition are invited to engage in conversations about faith, God, social justice, the search for truth, the desire for peace, global issues, ethics, and the dignity of humanity.
