Colleges and schools
Stetson University is made up of the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business Administration, the College of Law, and the School of Music. The University’s undergraduate programs are concentrated in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business Administration, and School of Music, with more than 50 degree programs ranging from Accounting to Theatre Arts.
The College of Arts and Sciences
With 19 academic departments and several interdisciplinary programs, the College of Arts and Sciences provides the liberal arts foundation necessary to the education of all Stetson University students. Its core curriculum follows the liberal arts philosophy by preparing students for compassionate, engaged, and significant lives.
The School of Business Administration
The School of Business Administration opened its doors in 1897 and has been a pioneer in business education in Florida. Today it is one of 182 business schools worldwide to be accredited in both Accounting and Business by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Graduates of the business school enter the workforce armed with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful, meaningful careers in the global marketplace.
The School of Music
The School of Music is rated one of the finest undergraduate-only music schools in the country, and as Florida’s first collegiate school of music, it has an enduring tradition of top-notch instruction. Its small size allows an intimate atmosphere, and the interaction between students and faculty nurtures talent, intellect, and values. The School of Music offers 12 different programs and has been educating musicians for the stage and classroom since 1936.

The Bonner Scholars Program
The Bonner Scholars Program has been a catalyst for student-led community transformation and social justice at Stetson University. Bonner students work with partners in our community, collectively providing more than 100,000 hours of community service through long-term internships and service learning.
Students who enter the University without a declared major take part in the Discovery Program. The Discovery Program at Stetson University allows you to explore options and interests before you select a major—and still graduate in four years.
The Honors Program offers an innovative curriculum of structured, mentored courses and experiences that are designed to enrich students’ learning and produce a community of promising and thoughtful scholars. These student scholars are prepared and competitive for national fellowships and grants, graduate and professional scholarships, and career opportunities. The program’s curriculum offers opportunities for research, travel, and other academic endeavors, plus the ability to design your own major and courses.
Roland George Investments Program
The Roland George Investments Program is open to select students who, for two semesters, step into the “real world” of portfolio management with real money. Individual security selections are researched using fundamental tools and data services provided by Bloomberg, Financial Wire, Morningstar, and Baseline. Students work in a trading room that provides the atmosphere and energy they will experience after graduation.
Study abroad is designed to develop skills to lead a significant life: being a global citizen, expanding your understanding of social responsibility, engaging hands-on with the world, and challenging you with high-impact academic and cocurricular experiences outside of your comfort zone. Study abroad is available as exchange programs, faculty-led programs, and affiliate programs.
Stetson University offers a pre-professional curriculum for students interested in pursing an education toward graduate programs in Health Professions, Law, Military Science, Forestry/Environmental Studies, and Engineering.
