Athletics
Our Division II teams include baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s bowling, men’s and women’s cross-country, women’s field hockey, men’s golf, men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track & field, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s triathlon. We also added sprint football and eSports this past year. Student-athletes build determination and sportsmanship while developing critical life skills such as leadership and personal discipline. Our students are presenting at international conferences, Forensic Science majors are interning with law enforcement to investigate crimes, Biology students are conducting research in state-of-the-art labs, and future educators are working with faculty to enrich education through digital literacy and 3D gaming. Our students take alternative spring break trips to build homes in Nicaragua or travel to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota to provide support to one of the nation’s poorest areas.
