Christian Life Profile

What about Presbyterian College makes us stand out?

You can craft your own experience.

At Presbyterian College we know that creating a strong community makes for a great college experience. Our faculty want to know your interests and passions, and by fostering a vibrant community, they let you know: you aren’t in this alone.

The College, located between Columbia and Greenville in Clinton, South Carolina, is situated on a striking 240-acre campus of natural beauty, steeped in history. Since 1880 PC has been offering challenging academics and a culture of honor, ethics, and service that prepares students to be leaders. PC offers its students the benefit of engaging with an exceptional faculty who take individual interest in their students’ well-being, both personally and in the classroom. The expansive campus has fostered decades of lifelong friendships and served as the starting ground for knowledge to last a lifetime.

We are committed to a strong liberal arts curriculum that develops critical thinking skills across disciplines. PC offers a 13:1 undergraduate student-faculty ratio, and six of our professors have been named South Carolina Professor of the Year. Students choose from 42 majors and 57 minors to suit their interests and aspirations. We believe it takes a community to make a great college. You can craft your own experience, but you are never alone in doing so.

Ninety percent of our graduates continue to graduate school or start their careers within six months of graduation. These alumni have lived by the PC honor code during their years here, which teaches accountability and respect across the campus. This code follows our graduates into the workplace and sets them apart from others.

Our campus has pride that speaks to our strong community. Blue Pride joins diverse campus groups in a com-mon bond that unites students across interests. Students are involved with over 100 organizations and clubs. From the clubs to Greek life to outdoor movies to student government—we make the most of campus life. You’ll find that from Division I sports to intramurals, no one sits on the sidelines. #GoBlueHose

One hundred percent of students study abroad, intern, or participate in research. Our students are also engaged in broader community work through Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, mission work, and faith groups.

PC is home. From professors who care
to an extended family of supporters, including staff, administrators, coaches, classmates, and alumni—everyone is focused on helping students excel.

We want students to grow in mind and spirit. PC nurtures students
in their understanding of religious thought through student groups, worship services, and student-ministry opportunities.

PC’s campus blends old Georgian Revival architecture and new facilities, with numerous buildings on the
National Register of Historic Places. Ninety-eight percent of students live on campus, and our Upstate location serves as a gateway to the restaurant and cultural scene in Greenville, the South Carolina coast, and the mountains of North Carolina. All are within reach. To see if PC should become your home away from home, plan a visit today. Our admissions counselors and Stirlings student ambassadors are ready to welcome you.
