Transformation. Community. Holy Cross.
King’s College is a private college founded in 1946 by the Congregation of Holy Cross from the University of Notre Dame. Our 48-acre campus is located in a residential area of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
King’s gives you the tools to succeed while you’re here and long after you graduate. A variety of majors, special programs, and unique experiences will help you discover your passions and develop the core of who you are. Small classes ensure personal interactions with faculty and access to résumé-building opportunities. It’s all part of a caring environment where you’ll find supportive professors, impressive coaches, and friends for life.
We have many unique academic offerings to consider, such as our Dual-Degree Engineering Program with the University of Notre Dame and our five-year Physician’s Assistant Studies Program. We offer our students the choice to take courses in a special concentration that complements their major and gives them an edge over their peers in the job market. Additionally, if graduate school is in your plans, our pre-professional programs have excellent placement rates in some of the most competitive dental, chiropractic, medical, and veterinary schools throughout the country.
King’s has 28 NCAA Division III varsity athletic teams for men and women. Almost half of our students participate in athletics. Our student-athletes are driven to excel on and off the field. Outside of academics and sports, King’s offers more than 50 different clubs and activities to get involved with on campus.
King’s is located in Wilkes-Barre, a small city in Northeast Pennsylvania. Our campus is near the downtown area along the beautiful Susquehanna River. We have an abundance of malls, theaters, coffeehouses, and restaurants that are just minutes away from campus. Local venues also offer concerts, Triple A baseball, minor league hockey, and arena football.
