Rosemont College is a Catholic liberal arts college located in suburban Philadelphia. In 1921, the Society of the Holy Child Jesus founded the College according to the educational principles of Cornelia Connelly, founder of the Society. Holy Child principles impart dignity, respect for each individual, and compassion in all members of our community of learners.

Rosemont College offers its unique brand of Catholic education built upon the strong foundation of Cornelian educational philosophy and with respect for all faith backgrounds.

Today Rosemont’s tagline, “the POWER of small,” reinforces the concept that our size is our strength. We accomplish remarkable success because of our students-first approach and the individual attention that is possible due to our small scale.

Today the College comprises three schools enrolling approximately 1,000 students: the Undergraduate College and the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies. The Undergraduate College awards bachelor’s degrees in 28 areas of study with a liberal arts foundation. Our student-faculty ratio of 10:1 and average class size of 12 allows for an intimate student experience, which facilitates strong relationships with peers and faculty.

The Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies grant two bachelor’s degrees with three concentration options and 12 master’s degrees, including accelerated courses, certificate programs, and several fully online programs.

Rosemont is a student-centered institution, offering a high quality of individualized attention, meaningful interaction, and opportunities for personal and intellectual growth.

Come discover the POWER of small for yourself!

Recently named one of the best schools for undergraduate education in the Northeast by The Princeton Review, Rosemont College is also recognized by U.S. News & World Report and has been listed as a “College of Distinction” for its work to engage students, provide outstanding faculty, create a vibrant community, and produce successful outcomes.

Rosemont’s campus is vibrant while retaining its historic charm and beauty, including the following renovations completed since 2010:
• Information Commons at the Kistler Memorial Library
• Gracemere Honors House
• Ravens Athletic Complex
• Rotwitt Theater of McShain Performing Arts Center

A new 73,000-sq. ft. Community Center will open on campus in the fall of 2019, which will include state-of-the-art smart classrooms, a new workout facility, and a lounge space.
