The University competes at the highest level in British Universities & Colleges Sport leagues, regularly winning championships across a wide range of sports. A number of our teams also compete in domestic leagues such as WBBL league (basketball), Welsh Premier league (men’s football), Welsh Women’s Premier league (women’s football), Welsh leagues (athletics), Super league, WRU Championship league (rugby), and MCCU league as well as professional county teams (MCC cricket).

With two campuses in the Llandaff and Cyncoed areas of the city, the University offers three-year bachelor’s honour degrees and one- to two-year master’s degrees. For PhD interest, most students complete in three years.

We now have a number of two-year master’s programmes that incorporate such opportunities. Those currently offered include MBA, Advanced Computer Science, Data Science, Events Project Management, Food Science and Technology, Applied Public Health, and Biomedical Sciences.
