Advance knowledge, extend knowledge, apply knowledge
Washington State University Tri-Cities is located in southeastern Washington along the beautiful Columbia River in the heart of Washington wine country and the Tri-Cities Research District. Because of the campus’s unique proximity to the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, the Hanford Site, and the Nobel Prize–winning Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory, students have exceptional opportunities in STEM, wine science, and other technical fields. The University also partners regularly with local companies, agencies, and organizations to provide career-based educational opportunities for students in degree programs that range from education to the liberal arts to wine business management and more.
WSU Tri-Cities’ tight-knit campus community blends hands-on learning with opportunities for research, access to a multitude of internships, personalized instruction, and an active student life. University faculty are also award winners for teaching and research—they’re active in developing solutions for a variety of problems and issues that have an impact both locally and across the globe.
The WSU Tri-Cities Student Affairs and Academic Affairs offices provide a holistic approach to student success. Students have access to a variety of services, including advising, veteran resources, mental health counseling, financial aid, access assistance, career development, tutoring, writing help, and other specialized programs such as TRIO Support Services and AVID for Higher Education.
