Located in suburban Southern New Jersey in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, the University has more than 19,000 students between its undergraduate and graduate programs. As a research institution that’s ranked among the “Best Public Universities in the North” by U.S. News & World Report, Rowan is known for its robust program offerings, with more than 100 majors to choose from, and for being one of only three universities in the country to have two medical schools. 

New facilities
September 2022 saw the completion and opening of new dance studios in Wilson Hall. The 7,500 square-foot addition features two dance studios, faculty offices, and student spaces, allowing the dance program to continue its growth and fulfill accreditation standards from the National Association of Schools of Dance.
