University of the Pacific values inclusiveness
The University of the Pacific believes that diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to the fulfillment of our institutional mission. We value inclusiveness in learning, curricular and cocurricular programming, campus climate, recruitment, admission, hiring, and retention. We resolve to foster a community that’s open-minded, multifaceted, and respectful of all persons.

Our foundational values include diversity and inclusion, social justice, leadership and civic engagement, advocacy, and empowerment. ISS spaces serve as a home away from home for students who live on and off campus. Intercultural Student Success hosts the following:
• Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi Student Success
• Black Student Success
• Gender Equity Center
• LatinX and Native American Student Success
• Pride Resource Center
Pacific PROMISE Scholars program
The Pacific PROMISE Scholars program helps former foster care and homeless students seek higher education as a path toward achieving their dreams. Since 2012, we’ve worked with students to develop a foundation for success in college through advocacy, assistance, and support. The Pacific community believes it's important to help students who don’t always have the support they need to be successful in college.
