Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences has a long and rich history. Our program was founded in 1891 in an effort to expand formal educational opportunities that would enable us to better care for our community. This spirit of commitment to community and education continues to be present in our current programs as we seek to provide excellence in professional nursing and healthcare career education. Our proximity to the seven-city-block campus of Blessing Hospital gives you convenient access to our parent organization and clinical experience partner. Strategic partnerships assist in giving you the best possible education. We partner with two local liberal arts colleges, ensuring you receive a well-rounded education. We provide exceptional clinical experience (clinicals) in collaboration with community agencies. Clinicals are also available through our parent organization, Blessing Hospital. A track record of high nursing examination pass rates

Our Simulation Center
Students whose programs require clinical experience start off in our Simulation Center. In this sophisticated facility, you practice clinical skills in a simulated environment, which prepares you to provide excellent care for your future patients. Find out more about our Simulation Center.

Quincy, Illinois is a beautiful small city with a population of about 40,000. With many attractions across the city, there is always something to enjoy!

Quincy's riverfront is also a center for popular activities throughout the year, including the Fourth of July display on the Quincy Bay, outdoor showings of movies, and concerts. 

The Historic Downtown District is the premier destination for dining, entertainment, and shopping. 

The Quincy YMCA and The Salvation Army Kroc Center provide fitness and recreational activities. There also several dance and yoga studios available.

The Quincy Park District also offers public access to numerous parks, trails, facilities, and programs throughout the city.
