An Inside Look

What students are saying about us...

  • “The engineering department is committed to graduating practice-ready engineers who have been given every opportunity to practice their technical training and develop the broader skills needed to apply that training in the workplace. By the time I graduated, I was already working in my chosen field as a civil engineer and had received an offer to stay on with the company after graduation.”

    • Caleb Miller
      Class of 2018, Civil Engineering
  • “Almost all of my professors have current hands on projects in their field that help you understand the real world side of the agriculture industry.”

    • Jaelynn Page
Class of 2021, is majoring in agriculture science and leadership
  • “It’s really hard for undergraduates to get research opportunities at other universities. If you do research, often you can’t do other things. Whereas at ASU, they want you to do research; they want you to branch out; they want you to ask questions and push yourself.”

    • Hope Jenson
      Biology, ROTC
  • “I had Dr. Dick Apronti for my engineering graphics class, and he showed me the beginning steps of solidworks, which is an engineering design program. Off that foundation, I was able to use it in California and grow in my solidworks experience.”

    • Adrian Campos
      Mechanical Engineering
