Established in 1946, Binghamton University is a midsize public institution and one of four university centers in the State University of New York (SUNY) system. The University combines an interdisciplinary, international education with one ofthe most vibrant research programs in the nation.

Faculty: 1,020 (full- and part-time); 93% hold the highest degree in their field.

Annual costs: 2019–2020 tuition and fees: $13,594 annual resident/$25,384 annual non-resident; rates differ for MBA, MSW, Nursing DNP, and PharmD programs. 

Scholarships/financial assistance: Hundreds of graduate students are supported by fellowships and teaching, graduate, and research project assistantships. Other assistance is available.
