Gannon University has provided graduate-level course work for the Erie community, the tri-state region, and beyond since 1964. Location is everything
Gannon’s vibrant, urban Erie Campus is located on the waterfront in the heart of Erie, Pennsylvania. This location enables students to easily find internships and co-op jobs with federal, state, and local government agencies; accounting, law, and marketing firms; hospitals; industrial and insurance companies; and museums. Students tell us Erie is just the right size—big enough to provide plenty of professional and recreational opportunities but small enough to easily get around and feel secure.

Gannon University’s campus in Ruskin, Florida is a bold move to fill the increasing demand for high-quality graduate education in disciplines that serve the health care sector of the Florida economy. Florida, and especially the west coast of Florida, is projected to have rates of growth in the population of college-age students that are among the highest in the country. Gannon University recognizes the demand for health care professionals and is embracing the challenge by introducing the additional campus in Ruskin, Florida. Gannon University believes the new trends and demands align with the hands-on, community-based curriculum currently offered to students. Graduate assistantships
Gannon University has a number of graduate assistantships available to students. Ability and application procedures vary based on department. Most graduate assistant students receive a stipend and/or percentage of tuition waiver. All positions are for one year and renewable for a second by mutual agreement. Graduate assistants in Residence Life receive room and board. Positions in the English department are teaching assistantships and require teaching college composition classes and working in the writing center.
