Anticipated opening in August 2019: Extending our commitment to the state of Georgia and the Southeast, PCOM is adding an additional location, PCOM South Georgia, in Moultrie.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held in Moultrie on April 26, 2018. Representatives from PCOM and members of South Georgia’s medical, political, and economic community came to celebrate the collaborative effort that will shape the future of health care in the region.
Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and PCOM South Georgia are the only Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) programs in Georgia. Featuring a comprehensive curriculum, the program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in an ever-changing health care environment. With a 100% match rate over the past three years, our graduates seek careers in primary and specialty care.
At PCOM South Georgia, you will learn to treat the whole well-being of your patients, using a specialized set of skills. With our unique program structure and our integrated, team-oriented approach to health care, you’ll learn how to dive deeper than the diagnosis to treat the whole person.
That’s the osteopathic medicine and PCOM approach. By learning in medically underserved areas in South Georgia, you will train on the frontlines of health. You will learn how to react, assess and adapt more effectively than your peers as you prepare for a career that will make a profound difference in the community.
With the opening of the PCOM South Georgia campus, we aim to not only establish a new medical school, but to strengthen the network of teaching hospitals, increase economic growth within the community and provide skilled healthcare providers for the region.
PCOM South Georgia looks forward to providing the same level of educational excellence that has made PCOM a national leader in osteopathic medical training for the last century.
