AT A GLANCE

PCOM Georgia and PCOM South Georgia are the only Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) programs in Georgia. Featuring a comprehensive curriculum, the program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in an ever-changing health care environment. With a 100% placement rate over the past three years, our graduates seek careers in primary and specialty care.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in Moultrie on August 6, 2019. Representatives from PCOM and members of the area’s medical, political, and economic communities, including Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, came to celebrate the collaborative effort that will help the future of health care in the region.

At PCOM South Georgia, you will learn to treat the whole well-being of your patients using a specialized set of skills. With our unique program structure and our integrative, team-oriented approach to health care, you’ll learn how to dive deeper than the diagnosis to treat the whole person.

That’s the osteopathic medicine and PCOM approach. By learning in medically underserved areas in South Georgia, you will train on the frontlines of health care. You will learn how to quickly react, assess, and adapt more effectively than your peers as you prepare for a career that will make a profound difference in the community.

With the opening of the PCOM South Georgia campus, we aim to not only establish a new medical school but to strengthen the network of teaching hospitals in the area, increase economic growth within the community, and provide skilled health care providers for the region.

In fall 2020, PCOM South Georgia will begin offering a degree in Biomedical Sciences, which will provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue various scientific careers and professional degrees.

Be part of something rich in tradition and endless in opportunity.
