SAGU seeks creators, dreamers, and change-makers—students who long to be uncommon. SAGU Lions are pioneers. They look for opportunity in surprising places. They take common ideas and moments and create something truly uncommon.

A SAGU education is designed around seven core values:
• Bible-Based Education
• Pentecostal Distinction
• Spiritual Formation
• Academic Excellence
• Missions Mindedness
• Servant Leadership
• Community and Personal Wellness

SAGU academics will challenge you and stretch you spiritually as you learn how your field relates to your Christian purpose. As a professor’s utmost priority, you receive personalized instruction in a small-class environment.

The relationships you form with Christian peers will provide a network of support and a family of friends that last beyond college. At SAGU, Lions are there to help, encourage, and pray for one another.

Uncommon destinations
Do you want to see the world? SAGU is over midway through a 10-year mission to visit every country, Indian state, and Chinese province by the year 2020. With more than 250 destinations, there is an opportunity to see every part of the world. SAGU has already visited more than 150 destinations in the first seven years.

Spiritual atmosphere
Surrounded by Christian faculty, caring dorm pastors, and Godly leaders, you will find yourself immersed in an environment that emphasizes your spiritual growth. You can make the most of daily chapel services and hands-on ministry.

Special grants
New master’s students in Ministry, Education, or History receive a 15% tuition grant. The grant awards $750 per semester, renewable over the life of your degree. Awards may vary depending upon student course load and the length of your time at SAGU.
