Located amid Boston’s top employers in biotech, health care, media, finance, business, and public policy, Suffolk offers students a wealth of academic and professional opportunities right next door. Our faculty members are teachers and respected practitioners in their fields, and our internship programs and powerful alumni network open doors to robust careers.

Learn in the heart of Boston
Suffolk University’s College of Arts & Sciences and Sawyer Business School together offer more than 50 graduate programs on a campus in the dynamic heart of downtown Boston. This puts students as close as possible to the government agencies; regional, national, and global corporations; and prestigious nonprofit organizations that power Boston’s economy. At Suffolk, no matter what you choose to study, you will be steps away from the city’s top employers in your profession—employers Suffolk enjoys close ties with.

Be the center of attention
Suffolk prides itself on a personal approach to education. This means that faculty members—90% of whom hold PhDs—take the time to recognize each student’s potential and forge mentoring relationships that last long after graduation. You will learn in small classes from the experiences of your professors, many of whom continue to practice in their fields and enrich their classrooms with professional insight. You’ll also benefit from their connections: Suffolk’s faculty network spans the city, country, and globe.

Experience a first-tier education
Suffolk’s Sawyer Business School and College of Arts & Sciences are home to some of the most distinguished advanced degree programs in Boston. For instance, Suffolk is the only school in Boston with supplemental AACBS accreditation in Taxation as well as Management, and our Master of Healthcare Administration program is the only active MHA program in New England accredited by CAHME. Suffolk developed the first online and executive MBA programs in New England, a tradition of innovation that is infused in each of our graduate offerings. Our MBA and MSF programs have been named among the country’s best by Financial Engineer, TaxTalent, and The Princeton Review, and Suffolk is ranked by U.S. News & World Report among its First-Tier National Universities.

Succeed everywhere
In Suffolk’s graduate programs, you will gain the knowledge and hands-on experiential learning you need to become a leader in your chosen field. The partnerships the University has developed with institutions in Boston, across Massachusetts, and around the world grant you access to a wealth of choices when it comes to internships. While Suffolk’s unique location gives you an edge in Boston networking, our students also find opportunities around the world. For instance, the Sawyer Business School’s faculty-led travel seminars give you firsthand insight on global business culture, and Graphic Design graduate students can hone their illustration skills in a summer course held in Florence, Italy.

At your convenience
Whether you’re looking to advance within your field or launch a whole new career, Suffolk makes the graduate school experience convenient. Many programs allow you to enroll on a part-time or full-time basis, while most classes are held in the early evening to accommodate your work or family schedule. And Suffolk’s campus is an easy walk from all major MBTA subway lines.

Get connected, stay connected
All Suffolk graduate students benefit from the Career Development Center the moment they arrive on campus. This resource offers personalized career counseling and extensive job search resources. The center’s staff also help students develop their networking, résumé-writing, and interviewing skills.Upon commencement, graduate students join Suffolk’s network of more than 80,000 alumni who enjoy professional success around the world. Our alumni also take advantage of the special continuing education, career development, and networking opportunities the University offers.
