Physician Assistant Studies
Mount Union’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies offers a graduate-level curriculum that focuses on the development of critical-thinking, professional problem-solving, and ethical leadership skills. The PA program offers extensive opportunities for hands-on experience outside of clinical rotations at over 200 locations. Mount Union’s wide range of clinical rotations gives students the chance to put what they’ve learned in the classroom into practice. The program consists of a 15-month didactic phase and a 12-month clinicalphase delivered over seven semesters. Online Master of Education
Mount Union’s online Master of Education (MEd) combines a relevant, robust, and engaging curriculum with the flexibility and convenience working professionals require. The MEd program allows students to start in the summer, fall, or spring semester. These fully online programs are structured into two separate six-week classes per term, allowing students to focus on one class at a time. The MEd program offers concentrations in Athletic Coaching, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, and Ohio Principal Licensure.
The MEd in Athletic Coaching leverages the University’s history in developing leaders in sport-related fields as well as the institution’s continued success in intercollegiate athletics. This, coupled with its track record for producing top-notch coaches at all levels of organized athletics, has established Mount Union as a premier institution for developing athletic coaches who are strong leaders, motivators, and communicators. Ohio Principal Licensure
Administrators in the P-12 educational setting are in need of meaningful leadership. Principals, athletic directors, and central office administrators are a few of the administrative positions responsible for motivating, training, managing, and inspiring progress. Mount Union’s MEd in Ohio Principal Licensure combines a robust and engaging curriculum with relevant, hands-on work in their schools to prepare graduates for the Ohio principal licensure exam and to serve as impactful leaders in their school districts. Master of Business Administration
Recently, the Board of Trustees approved the addition of the Master of Business Administration degree to Mount Union’s offerings. This program will be offered online with two concentrations—Business Analytics and Leadership & Innovation. The University of Mount Union has begun the external approval process, which includes seeking approvals from the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) and Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
Exercise and Nutrient Metabolism
The master’s in Exercise and Nutrient Metabolism at Mount Union leverages a combination of exercisescience and nutrition with the entrepreneurial spirit to develop leaders, academics, inventors, and managers in fields related to food science, fitness, and nutrient metabolism. Doctor of Physical Therapy
