Community Service Scholarship for Multicultural Students
In every community, there is important work that can be done only by individuals who are willing to give their time, talent, and energy with little thought to personal gain or recognition. The mark of a vital, caring community is the willingness of its members to do this work. Such community projects are often performed by members of service organizations, school groups, churches, scout troops, and businesses—and individuals like you. Accordingly, Multicultural Colleges & Universities magazine has been proud to administer its Community Service Scholarship for Multicultural Students since it was founded over 25 years ago!
- Each year, one scholarship in the amount of $2,000 will be awarded.
- This scholarship is for students who will be college freshmen beginning in the fall of the current year.
- The award is for one year only and is non-renewable.
If you’re a student from a multicultural background who’s been active in community service, don’t let this scholarship opportunity pass you by. We look forward to reviewing your application!
