Located on the southern end of Mount Desert Island, Marine Science Camp consists of an extensive program of marine studies. Student oceanographers work closely with their instructors in exploring the marine environment—from offshore dredging for invertebrates to whale and seal counts. AIO conducts introductory (ages 10-12), intermediate (ages 12-15) and advanced (ages 15-19) sessions.
