Program volunteers spend up to eight weeks living with host families and working in rural areas or underserved semi-urban neighborhoods in one of six Latin American countries: the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama or Paraguay. Participants live and work in teams of two or three, collaborating with local families and youth and Latin American sponsoring agencies to address community public health and development issues.
