Broadway Theatre Project

Conducted at the University of South Florida, BTP enables high school and college students who have prior musical theater training to study intensively with professional artists and educators in theater, film and television. Pupils attend classes in acting, dance, voice and writing, with emphasis placed on the collaborative process and the collective creation of art. The program also includes specialty classes in stage combat, Broadway repertory and auditioning, as well as private vocal and acting lessons. Participants spend evenings rehearsing for a final performance at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center.
