Entrada Scholars enroll in summer-term classes alongside current Calvin students. Participants are assigned an academic coach, a trained teacher who attends classes with them in the morning and leads a study period after class. Worship services at local churches, Bible studies and daily devotions are also part of the program. Entrada primarily serves African-American, Latino, Asian-American and Native American students entering grades 11 and 12.
