This farm program centers around the Quaker values of nonviolence, simplicity and environmental awareness. Campers gain an appreciation for nature and learn to minimize their impact on the environment. In addition to completing chores throughout the day, boys and girls engage in various crafts and recreational pursuits. Eleven- and 12-year-old campers take part in a separate, more independent farm session that includes two-, three- and four-day backpacking hikes.
