With its staff consisting exclusively of born-again Christians, Dovewood offers a variety of recreational programs in a Christian setting. A horsemanship program addresses English and Western riding, as well as grooming, feeding, veterinary care and general horse care; a ballet program teaches basic fundamentals and choreography; and a gymnastics program focuses upon technique and exercises, culminating in a day of competition. Other activities include tennis and various other sports, overnight trail riding, river rafting and opportunities in the arts.
