Situated on a peninsula in Lake Baptiste, Ponacka offers swimming, canoeing, sailing, riding, water-skiing, crafts, nature lore, camp craft and land sports, among other activities. The program also includes one- to seven-day hiking and canoeing trips. Although sessions typically run for four weeks, boys ages 8 and 9 may attend for two weeks. All counselors are former campers.
