At Voyageur, campers receive training in canoeing and minimum-impact camping and are assigned to trips according to their interests and abilities. While experienced campers may spend up to half their time on the trail, those remaining at the base camp may participate in team and individual sports, water-skiing, swimming, fishing, sailing, arts and crafts, and other traditional activities.
