Choate Rosemary Hall Documentary Filmmaking | Summer Programs

Choate Rosemary Hall Documentary Filmmaking

During the first week of this introductory documentary filmmaking program, high schoolers attend screenings of landmark films and iconic moving images. Students develop critical skills for reading and appreciating screen-based communication during the week. The second week, which includes a shooting and editing practicum, culminates in the creation of a documentary short film or a personal video essay. Guest presenters enrich the program during both weeks.
