Choate Rosemary Hall English Language Institute


Serving nonnative speakers of English who have studied the language for at least three years in their home schools and who can converse in English, these intensive courses help students develop proficiency in standard English. Students develop ability in such language skills as writing, speaking, listening and reading, and they participate in minor courses, sports, meals, weekend dances and various social activities with students from the academic summer session. Integral components of this program are off-campus trips to various cities, museums and cultural events that supplement and relate to course work.
