Choate Rosemary Hall John F. Kennedy '35 Institute in Government

Institute students take courses that focus on the formation of political ideas, the foundation and workings of the American government, and specific current domestic and foreign issues. Pupils spend the fourth week in Washington, DC, meeting with statesmen, interest groups, and organizations that work on the domestic and foreign issues that were discussed earlier in the session. Boys and girls engage in athletic, extracurricular and social activities with students from Choate's other summer programs.
