Choate Rosemary Hall Writing Workshops

This intensive writing course serves students interested in exploring, improving and gaining confidence in their writing skills. Working with the teacher either individually or in small groups, pupils learn the importance of including detail and description in their creative writing and evidence and support in their analytical pieces. Boys and girls experiment with different kinds of writing, such as personal narrative, dialogue, poetry, short stories and thesis papers. Students play sports on weekday afternoons and engage in on- and off-campus social activities on weekends. Rising sixth graders attend as day pupils.
