Conducted by Davidson College, this enrichment program for rising high school juniors and seniors combines a preview of college life with an academic component featuring courses taught by Davidson professors. Boys and girls select two noncredit courses from several liberal arts disciplines. Class periods last 90 minutes, with additional laboratory sessions scheduled in certain subjects. Students take part in extracurricular activities and explore various area attractions, among them the college's private Lake Campus and the US National Whitewater Center.
