The Summer Academy hosts various commuter and residential summer camps designed to introduce the latest technology to aspiring aviators, astronauts, engineers and scientists. High school students earn college credit and gain insight into developments in space technology through three-week Aerospace I and II courses. Executive Training Academy introduces girls ages 14-17 to the world of business. Aviation Career Exploration programs allow middle and high school students to explore fields such as space technology, flight, air traffic control, meteorology, and engineering through the use of state-of-the-art simulation devices plus labs, field trips, classroom interaction, and guest speakers. Boys and girls interested in flight training choose from a flight exploration program (ages 12-18) and several precollege SunFlight offerings that serve beginners and serious pilots alike.
