Episcopal High School Young Writers Workshop | Summer Programs

Episcopal High School Young Writers Workshop

The Young Writers Workshop offers intensive instruction in written communication skills while providing multiple opportunities for students to practice public speaking. The course focuses on three major types of writing—creative, persuasive and analytical—by devoting a full day to the specific techniques of each genre. Participants present their work to peers in a concluding poetry reading/storytelling event. Activities outside the classroom include guest speakers and a field writing experience at the Botanical Gardens in Washington, DC.
