Situated on 320 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Gwynn Valley offers a noncompetitive program that emphasizes individual achievement in swimming, canoeing, arts, crafts, music, sports, nature study and riding for the younger child. Campers feed animals, garden, milk cows and goats, and harvest fruits and vegetables on the camp's working farm. Dating back to the 1890s, a grist mill provides opportunities for grinding, fishing, cornbread baking and ice cream making.
