Advanced high school percussionists entering grades 10-12 may enroll in this intensive program. Students engage in hands-on study of all major percussive instruments: two- and four-mallet keyboard, snare drum, timpani and orchestral accessories. In addition, participants gain an introduction to world hand drums, percussion chamber music, and both solo- and multi-percussion repertoire. Programming combines master classes, clinics, lectures, rehearsals and performances. Private lessons are also part of the program.
