Michigan State University High School Engineering Institute



Conducted by MSU College of Engineering faculty with the assistance of graduate and undergraduate students, HSEI provides in-depth experience in engineering majors for rising high school sophomores and juniors who are seriously considering an engineering career. Each day, students learn about a major and take part in short lectures, demonstrations, hands-on experiments and team-based problem solving. Participants also tour engineering research facilities and attend presentations by the Honors College, the admissions office, the study abroad office, and the internship and undergraduate research opportunities center.
