NSLC helps high school students develop leadership skills and offers the opportunity to gain insight and experience in one of the following fields: education, business, engineering, forensic science, intelligence and national security, international business, international diplomacy, journalism and mass communication, sports and entertainment management, law or medicine. Meetings with national and world leaders and field trips are part of the program. Domestic programs operate at the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Tulane University, Fordham University, the University of California-Berkeley, American University and the University of Maryland-College Park.
