FLC combines adventure training, group discussions, teamwork, physical fitness and assigned leadership opportunities. Morning and afternoon training focuses on individual and team skill development and features a ropes course, climbing wall, a rappelling tower, map reading and orienteering, and rifle marksmanship; evenings include interactive classroom instruction and group discussions. FLC is not designed for students with disciplinary problems and instead serves boys and girls with at least a 2.5 GPA with prior experience in leadership-driven organizations.
