Talented high school students gain an exposure to careers in science and engineering through SEAP's eight-week apprenticeships at 16 Department of Defense research centers, laboratories, observatories and warfare centers. Projects range from radiobiology and medical research to aircraft and weapons systems engineering. SEAP encourages students to apply to centers close to home. Some laboratories may accept 15-year-olds.
