The Pioneer Research Program offers undergraduate-level research opportunities with top U.S. college and university professors to talented, intellectually motivated high school students from around the world. Pioneer Scholars select an independent research topic from within the 22 areas offered and are mentored by a professor who is an expert in that area as they develop a unique college-level research paper. In addition to receiving college credit for their work, Pioneer Scholars obtain an evaluation from their professor mentor that attests to their ability to succeed at the most selective colleges or universities. All research and collaboration with Pioneer’s professor mentors are conducted virtually, through video-enabled interaction, and can be scheduled according to the student’s free time.
