Shedd Aquarium High School Marine Biology Summer Program

The aquarium's program offers students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of marine biology and island ecology through lectures, field study and experimentation. Following an introduction at the Shedd Aquarium, participants spend six days living on a research vessel off the coast of the Bimini, Bahamas. Pupils spend the final week at the aquarium analyzing the data from the field. Students must make housing arrangements for their time in Chicago.
