Shire Village stresses individualized programming, with campers choosing activities from a variety of specialized areas. Offerings include farming, outdoor living, animal care, arts and crafts, theater, film and photography, woodworking, horseback riding, swimming, canoeing and other individual, noncompetitive sports. First-time campers ages 7-11 may enroll in a two-week introductory session; other boys and girls attend for at least three weeks.
