Texas State University Aquatic Sciences Adventure Camp

TSU's Edwards Aquifer Research and Data Center guides this program, in which boys and girls study freshwater ecosystems in the Central Texas Hill Country. Mornings at the camp are devoted to educational activities related to water resources, aquatic biology and water chemistry, while afternoons include aquatic activities (such as tubing, scuba/snorkeling, rafting, fishing and swimming) that are intended to increase campers' appreciation of aquatic resources. Although two two-day commuter options are available, most sessions accommodate boarders only.
