RLT participants choose from a range of community service, wilderness adventure and language immersion programs. Adventure Expeditions campers explore wilderness areas in the western United States, Alaska and Norway. Leadership Training programs in Washington State and British Columbia or Costa Rica and Nicaragua offer Wilderness First Responder certification. Global Perspectives Programs immerse students in remote cultures in Bhutan and Costa Rica. Service Learning program destinations include Colorado, South Dakota, Florida, Louisiana (for Hurricane Katrina relief), Hawaii, India, Tanzania and Namibia. Language and Service programs combine formal language instruction with service work and adventure activities in Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru and Guatemala.
