While developing their French language skills, pupils enrolled in this Tufts University program also study international politics and diplomacy. Participants, who live with local host families, take two college-level courses that lead to a greater understanding of international relations. Daily French classes combine class exercises with exposure to aspects of French culture. Day trips to international organizations in Geneva, Switzerland, and historic sites in Lyon, France—in addition to various outdoor activities—round out the program.
