University of Kansas—Midwestern Music Academy


Midwestern Music Academy's offers four weeklong summer programs, all taught by University of Kansas faculty and guest artists. Jayhawk Junior Musicians camp is open to students in grades 3-6 who are seeking learning experiences within music. Junior High Music Camp, open to band and choir students entering grades 6-9 and orchestra students entering grades 6-8, offers instruction through master classes, rehearsals and electives. Programs for students completing grades 8-12 include the String Institute; the Wind, Brass and Percussion Institute; and the Jazz Workshop.
